IBA Proton Therapy is proud to support the development of the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐥, with the entry into effect of an agreement to install two 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐮𝐬®𝐎𝐍𝐄 solutions.

This landmark project will bring proton therapy to the country for the first time, expanding access to 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 for patients, including children.

As highlighted by our partner, this initiative represents a major step forward for cancer care in Portugal:

Developed in collaboration with Instituto Português de Oncologia do Porto (IPO-Porto), the center will play a key role in shaping the future of oncology care and strengthening access to advanced treatment options across the country.
