Are you passionate about advancing medical imaging and radiotherapy? We are looking for an ambitious Postdoctoral Researcher to join our research team at the Danish Centre for Particle Therapy, Aarhus University Hospital and the Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University.

This 3-year full-time position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of photon-counting CT and its implementation for radiotherapy treatment planning, including proton therapy.

The project focuses on:
โ–ช๏ธDeveloping new visualization strategies to improve target delineation
โ–ช๏ธApplying deep learning to enhance photon-counting CT images
โ–ช๏ธ Improving radiotherapy dose calculation through advanced image processing, including virtual iodine contrast removal
โ–ช๏ธEstablishing clinically applicable workflows for photon-counting CT-based treatment planning

You will become part of a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment, working alongside medical physicists, radiation oncologists, imaging scientists, and clinicians at Denmark’s national centre for proton therapy.
